My Fears: A not so well written poem

My Fears

I fear the lord, I fear the devils
For I know not what the devils desire and the lord forbade

I fear what is known and also the unknown
Believing there is much more than what is just shown

I fear my friends, I fear my foes
Seems like two faces of the same soul

I fear the riches and also the poverty
Finding true wealth only in the quest of almighty

I fear the uncertainty, I fear the obvious
Unable to find life’s true purpose, trying to remain oblivious

I fear the applause and also the blame
As I wish myself to be forgotten in this world of fame

Though the mist of pessimism has clouded my judgement
I try hard for my fears not to weaken my sentiment.

  1. Dr.Supriya Nayak says:

“FEAR” – The keynote of mysery of life,
Sufficient to put the end to life.
Life has many aspects to unfold
    many stories to remain untold;
Nevertheless knowing life is not endless
    So ‘FEAR’ sounds dreaded
Sufficient to flag end to the life.
    Life is lively
if we can only live fearlessly.
    Let’s see around others
to live odds and evens of life.
Not to leave the stones unturned
to face the exposure of life.
    Life being strangled by fear,
    Let’s stand up to dare
    To enjoy life only
B’coz ‘LIFE’ is one time gift merely.
    Think and realize
    Not to repent otherwise. 👍
